DAY 1 AMRITSAR TO AMRITSAR

On arrival at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station, transfer to the hotel. After freshening up, proceed to witness the iconic Retreat Ceremony at Wagah Border, followed by a visit to the revered Golden Temple. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Golden Temple:

Amritsar is home to the Harmandir Sahib, widely known as the Golden Temple—the most revered spiritual site in Sikhism. The temple’s gilded façade and serene setting make it one of the most visited religious places in the world. Set within a vast complex known as Darbar Sahib, the temple offers a tranquil and sacred atmosphere.

Wagah Border:

Located 28 km from Amritsar, the Wagah Border marks the international boundary between India and Pakistan. The star attraction here is the Beating Retreat Ceremony, held every evening just before sunset. This electrifying event sees soldiers from both nations perform synchronized drills, showcasing both patriotism and respect. The atmosphere is charged with national pride, as crowds cheer, flags are lowered, and gates are ceremonially closed for the day.

Dalhousie:

Panchpula & Satdhara:

Located just 3.5 km from Gandhi Chowk, Panchpula is a scenic picnic spot surrounded by pine and deodar trees, known for the Saptdhara Waterfall. Nearby Satdhara offers refreshing natural springs believed to have medicinal properties, making it a peaceful spot for visitors.

Dainkund Peak:

St. Patrick’s Church:

St. John in the Wilderness Church:

Dalai Lama Temple:

Bhagsunath Temple:

Dal Lake:

A revered Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, known for its peaceful setting on the banks of the Baner River, surrounded by majestic mountains.

Palampur tea garden:

Gopalpur Zoo:
